Marcus Elton is a cultural commentator and editor based between London and New York. He spent four years as Senior Editor at GQ UK before joining Splurjj to build out the Culture vertical from the ground up.

His writing sits at the intersection of identity, discipline, and intentional living. He believes that the most important skill anyone can develop in the 21st century is the ability to consciously curate their environment — and that most people severely underestimate the role of environment in shaping who they become.

When not writing, Marcus is a self-described "obsessive note-taker" who keeps a running document of ideas that he refers to as his "thinking ledger." He also consults for emerging lifestyle brands on editorial strategy and community building.
